We are Axiom Engineers. Even though our name says Goregaon, we actually run things from Naik Shivmangal Apartment over in Kalyan East. It’s B-26 at Tisgaon Naka. It’s a bit of a journey between the two places, but we make it work. The office is basically just a regular flat where we’ve set up our desks and drawing boards. It’s not fancy at all. There are stacks of files everywhere and the tea kettle is usually going. We handle all sorts of engineering tasks for people around Thane and Mumbai. It’s just a small group of us here. We don't have a big corporate structure or a human resources department. If someone has a question, they just shout across the room. The neighborhood at Tisgaon Naka is quite busy, so there’s always noise from the street. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and we know the local vendors and other businesses nearby. Sometimes we’re out on-site for days, and other times we’re stuck here doing calculations and paperwork. We don't use any fancy software that we don't need, just the basics to get the job done right. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when we have a lot of projects going on at once, but we know where everything is. We just focus on the technical side and try not to get bogged down in the rest of it.
