Tex Mech Enginees

Our shop, Tex Mech Enginees, is tucked away in Singh Industrial Estate No. 1 over in Goregaon West. We are in Unit No. A/5B, which is right on Ram Mandir Road. It is a handy spot because it’s just before you get to the Movie Star Cinema, so people usually use that as a landmark when they are coming to see us. The area stays pretty packed with traffic, but that is just Goregaon for you. Inside the unit, it’s a lot of mechanical parts and tools scattered around. We do a lot of hands-on work here, so there is always the smell of oil and the sound of machines running. It isn't a corporate setup by any means. We have some old desks where we keep the ledger and the phone, but the real work happens on the floor. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We take our work seriously but we aren't formal people. You might find us sitting outside for a break when the weather is decent. We handle mechanical engineering tasks for whoever needs them, mostly small-scale stuff that requires a bit of thinking and a lot of grease. It’s a tough way to make a living sometimes, but we enjoy the challenge of fixing things. We don't really bother with fancy titles; we all just pitch in whenever a job comes through the door.
