Tastebuds

You can find us over at Chinabag Industrial Estate in Kandivali East, specifically at unit 701. Being in an industrial estate means things are always moving around us. There are trucks, deliveries, and people rushing everywhere. Tastebuds is our little corner in all that chaos. We decided to set up here because it was practical. It’s not a place you’d come for a fancy dinner date, that’s for sure. It’s more of a place where things get done. We spend a lot of our time making sure everything is ready for the day ahead. Sometimes the mornings are cold when we first open up, but it warms up fast once the burners are on. We have a few regulars from the nearby units who drop by. It’s nice to see familiar faces. We don't use any fancy equipment; it’s mostly just standard stuff that’s seen a lot of use. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We just focus on the food and getting it out on time. It’s a straightforward way to live. We’ve been in Kandivali for a while now and we like the pace of it. It’s a bit gritty, but it feels real. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big show or anything like that. Just good food for the people who are hungry. We stay busy and we stay out of the way.
