Taste Buds

We are located at Vijay Nagari Nx near the Wagbhil Naka. The address is 1622 on the Thane Godbunder Road. It is a busy spot especially with all the people coming off the highway. The kitchen is the heart of the place. You can hear the pans clanking and the stove hissing from the moment we open. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. The tables are sturdy and the chairs are simple. We mostly focus on getting the food out hot. It gets very humid in the kitchen during the dinner rush. We are often wiping sweat off our foreheads while we plate the orders. The staff has been here for a while and we all know each other’s habits. We don't have a corporate script for talking to customers. We just ask them what they want to eat and bring it to them. Sometimes we run out of things and have to tell people sorry. It happens. The road outside is always under some kind of repair so it can be a bit dusty. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors. It is a local place for local people. Some families come in every Sunday like clockwork. We know their favorite spots to sit. It is not a five-star hotel but the food is honest and we work hard at it. It gets loud in here but that is just how we like it.
