Sushama Engineering Works

Our workshop is over in Dhokali, right near Khimline Pumps. It is a bit of a hidden spot, but we like it that way. We do various engineering jobs, mostly making parts or fixing up machinery that has seen better days. We have some old lathes and drills that have been with us since we started, and they still do the job just fine. It is a greasy environment and the floor always has a bit of metal shavings on it, no matter how much we sweep. We are just a few guys who enjoy working with our hands and making things fit right. We do not have any big corporate mission or anything like that. We just take the jobs as they come in. Sometimes a neighbor will bring in a broken part from their tractor or a factory tool, and we see what we can do to fix it. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and talking about how to solve a particular mechanical problem. It is not a high-tech place, just an honest shop where things get made. We do not do much in the way of promotion. Word just gets around that we are here and that we can handle the work. It is a simple life and we are happy with it. We just keep our tools sharp and our heads down until the job is done.
