Our spot is in 203, Parvati Apartment, which is very close to the Hanuman Mandir in Kalwa. Being in the Thane district means we are always dealing with the humidity and the constant noise from the trains and the traffic. You can hear the bells from the temple nearby, which is a nice break from the sound of the industrial work we do. We work out of the apartment, using it as a hub for our iron and steel operations in this region. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the paperwork and the people coming in and out. The building is older, and the stairs are narrow, but it serves us well enough. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby or fancy furniture. We just have our computers, our ledgers, and a lot of work to do. Kalwa is a very industrial area, so being here makes sense for the type of steel we handle. Most of us have been working in this field for years, so we know the drill. We grab tea from the stall downstairs and spend most of our time on the phone or typing up reports. It’s a regular life in a busy part of the suburbs, and we just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. The temple nearby reminds us when it's time to wrap up and head home for the evening.
