Arya Iron & Steel is located on the ground floor of Kalptaru Apartment in Badlapur West. We are right there in Shani Nagar. It’s a humble little spot for an iron and steel company. Being on the ground floor makes it easier to move things in and out, though it does get a bit dusty with all the trucks passing by. The office itself is quite plain. We have some heavy desks and a few chairs for visitors. We mostly deal with local contractors and suppliers who come in to talk about orders. There’s always a calendar on the wall marked up with delivery dates. Badlapur is a bit far out, so it’s a quieter pace than central Mumbai, but we still keep busy. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, kids playing or people going to the market. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. We just talk to people face to face and get the deals done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just sit and wait for it to come back on while we chat. It is a very straightforward way of doing business. We know our customers and they know where to find us. It’s just a regular local business making its way. We don't need much more than that.
