Shree Catering Services

Shree Catering Services is based in the F Wing of Prathana Building over in Dombivili. We are on the first floor, so it isn't too many stairs to deal with. Our spot is right on Karve Road, directly opposite Dr Palshetkar’s place. If you go behind the building, there is the Batshala Maiadan, where kids are often playing cricket or people are just walking around. It’s a lively neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for some time now. Inside our workspace, things are usually a bit loud because of the heavy stoves and the exhaust fans. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. It is a very hands-on job and there is always something that needs cleaning or a menu that needs sorting out. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work every day. The morning starts with checking the inventory and making sure the stove gas is ready to go. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble navigating the lane behind the playground, but we’ve figured out the timing over the years. We stay busy with local events and small gatherings. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t try to make it seem like more than it is. We are just here in Prathana Building, getting the cooking done and making sure everything is packed up right before it leaves the door.
