Bipin Engineering Work

Our workshop is inside the Golani Complex, Plot No-62, Gala No-1. It’s near Golani Naka, so it’s quite an active area for small industries. We focus on general engineering and repair work. It’s a bit of a maze getting to Part No-6 if you haven’t been here before. The space is small, but we’ve managed to fit all the essential tools in there. It’s mostly grease and the sound of hammers hitting metal. Bipin started this place years ago with just one machine. Now we have a few more, though it's still just a small family-run thing. We don’t have an office staff; we just answer the phone while we’re working. Sometimes we miss calls if the machines are too loud. We take on whatever work comes through the door, from fixing small brackets to making larger parts. It’s a lot of manual labor and long days. We don't pretend to be a high-tech facility. We just do the work as best as we can with what we have. If you need something fixed, you can just stop by. There's usually someone here from eight in the morning until late evening. The tea boy comes around twice a day, and that's usually when we take our only real breaks. It’s a tough way to make a living, but Bipin Engineering Work is what we know. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we’re still here in Golani.
