Out here at Plot No. 16 in the M.I.D.C. area of Thane, things move at a steady pace for us at Bhave Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Being in an industrial zone means we are surrounded by other plants and factories, so there is always a background hum of engines and movement. Our building is a simple structure that fits right in with the rest of the district. Inside, it is all about the machinery and the metal we work with every day. Thane can get quite hot and the monsoon season really pours down on our tin roof, which makes for a loud working environment, but we are used to it by now. We focus on the engineering side of things, making sure the specs are right and the machines are running as they should. We don't have a team of people in suits; it's mostly just staff who know how to handle the equipment and get the measurements right. Logistics can be a bit of a headache with the trucks coming in and out of the M.I.D.C. roads, but that is just life in an industrial belt. We’ve been at this Thane location for quite some time, and it has become home for our daily grind. We try to keep things organized, though with so many projects going on, there’s always a bit of a clutter of steel and tools around the floor. It is just the way we work after all these years.
