Satguru Engg. Works

Satguru Engg. Works is based in Gala No. 4 of the Saikrupa Industry building. We are located in Sathe Nagar on Road No. 21, quite close to the Jb Sawant Bus Stop in Wagle Estate. If you know the area, it's a very industrial part of town. There are factories and workshops everywhere you look. We’ve been here for some time now. Our day starts early when the buses start dropping people off nearby. Inside our gala, it’s mostly the sound of cutting and grinding metal. It can get pretty loud, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other. We don't have a lot of space for a proper office, so the desk is just tucked into a corner near the entrance. Most of the floor is taken up by the lathes and other machinery. We don't really do much in the way of fancy business stuff. We just take the jobs as they come from other companies in Wagle Estate or elsewhere. Sometimes we are working late to finish a specific part that someone needs urgently. It’s a lot of physical labor and we often go home with tired hands and dirty clothes. The environment is honest and hardworking. We aren't worried about how the place looks to outsiders as long as the work gets done properly. It is just a regular engineering shop doing its bit in a busy industrial zone and we've gotten used to the noise and the pace of this area over the years.
