If you are looking for us, we are tucked away in B-10 of the Suleman Irfan Compound in Rahat Nagar. It is right on Raghvendra Mandir Road and across from Ajit Glass, but the entrance can be a bit narrow for big vehicles. Our workshop has been in Jogeshwari West for years now and the walls are pretty stained with oil and grease. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of the lathe machines going on in the background. We handle a lot of different mechanical jobs that people bring in, from small parts to bigger fixes. It’s not a very organized place, with scraps of iron and old tools lying on the workbenches. We work long hours, especially when a machine breaks down and someone needs it fixed by the next morning. The air inside smells like cooling oil and burnt metal most of the time. My brothers and I run the floor while a couple of hired hands help with the heavy welding. We don't really have a reception area, so visitors usually just walk right into the middle of the shop. Sometimes it gets crowded when three or four people are waiting for their parts at once. It’s a bit of a chaotic spot but we know where everything is kept. Jogeshwari is a busy place and we just fit right into the noise. We just keep the machines running and the work moving.
