Sankaj Steel Ltd. is located on the ground floor at number 17. The street is Dharmveer Chakravati Ashok Road. Being on the ground floor is handy because we deal with a lot of heavy samples and people coming in and out all day. It’s a lot easier than dragging things up a flight of stairs. The office itself is quite plain. We have some samples of steel rods and sheets leaning against the walls in the back. It’s a bit of a messy place if I am being honest. There are stacks of invoices on almost every flat surface. Ashok Road can be quite chaotic with the rickshaws and the delivery vans constantly moving. We have a small bench outside where the delivery boys sit while they wait for their papers to be signed. It gets quite dusty because of the road, so we are always wiping down the desks. The fans on the ceiling hum quite loudly but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a fancy website or anything. Most of our work is done over the phone or with people just walking in through the front door. It’s a straightforward business. We show up at nine, deal with the orders, and lock up when we're done. There isn't much more to it than that. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs.
