Salvam Container

Salvam Container is out at Plot No-28 in the Vithoba Industrial area, which is part of Kalapur in the Raigarh district. Being out here means we have a bit more space, which is good because containers take up a lot of room. Our yard is usually full of metal frames and stacks of heavy sheets. It’s a dusty place, and when the wind blows, you can feel the grit in the air. We spend our days welding, hammering, and moving heavy parts around with the forklift. The sound of the grinder is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't a high-tech facility with robots. It’s mostly just us using our hands and manual tools to get the containers built or fixed. The sun can be quite brutal out here in Raigarh, so we try to do the heaviest work in the early morning. We have a small cabin that serves as an office, but we’re hardly ever in there unless we’re eating lunch or signing a delivery note. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We wear old clothes that can get grease and sparks on them. People come to us because they know we’re here in Kalapur and we’ve been doing this for years. We don't have a fancy sales pitch. We just show them what we’ve built in the yard and let the work speak for itself.
