Our office is at 202, Him Shikhar, on the first floor. We are in Sector 21 of Nerul, specifically Plot 113. It’s a decent area in Navi Mumbai, not as crazy as the main city but still pretty active. A. V. Plastic Equipments Pvt. Ltd. spends its time working with plastic equipment. Most of the day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on machine parts. The office has that typical smell of an engineering firm—a bit of oil and paper. We have a few rooms where we keep the technical drawings and the equipment catalogs. It’s not a large team, just a handful of us who know the industry. We’ve been in Nerul for several years now. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but our routine stays mostly the same. We start around nine and finish when the work is done. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a big shipment of equipment coming in. There’s a small tea shop downstairs where we usually go to clear our heads. The building itself is sturdy, though the paint might be peeling a bit in the corners. We don’t mind. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. We focus on the specs and making sure the machinery is what it needs to be. It’s practical, everyday stuff. We just try to keep the business running smoothly without making a big fuss about it.
