Simplex Plast

Simplex Plast is located at Plot Number 29 in the Diwan & Shah Udyog Nagar, over in the Walliv Phata area. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s a good spot for a manufacturing unit like ours. We have a fair amount of space on the plot, which we need for the plastic molding machines and the raw materials that come in. The workshop is always humming with the sound of the equipment. It gets pretty warm because of the heat used in the molding process, so we try to keep the ventilation going as best as we can. Our team is mostly made up of people from the nearby areas who have been with us for years. We don't have a big HR department or a fancy cafeteria. We just have a small corner where we can sit and eat. Most of our day is spent watching the machines and checking the products for any flaws. If a machine breaks down, we roll up our sleeves and try to fix it ourselves before calling in outside help. It’s a very hands-on environment. We aren't interested in making things sound better than they are. It’s just a factory where we make plastic items day in and day out. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’re happy with how things run here at Walliv Phata.
