S. S. Engineering Works

If you go down Road No. 21 in the Wagle Industrial Estate, you will find us at A-19. We are in the Mandal Compound, which is tucked away in the Adiwasi Pada area. It is right near the Sai Baba Temple, so we hear the temple bells throughout the day. Our shop is an engineering works, which mostly means we spend our time on lathes and milling machines. It is a gritty place with a lot of metal scrap and the smell of machine coolant. Thane West is a busy area, and this estate is always humming with activity. We have been in this spot for a long time. The workshop isn't much to look at, but we have the tools we need to get things done. We mostly work with local businesses that need parts made or machines repaired. It is loud and can get quite messy, but that is the nature of engineering. The guys who work here are local and have been doing this kind of thing since they were young. We don't have a big corporate office or a sales team. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes we sit outside by the compound gate during our break just to get a bit of fresh air. It is just a normal local business doing what we know how to do for the people nearby.
