S. N. Hydra Engineers

We are over at Unit Ar-1 in the Deepranjan Industrial Estate, which is on Pokran Road No. 1. If you are looking for S. N. Hydra Engineers, that’s where you will find us most days. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with hydraulic parts and hoses lying around, but that is how we work. We spend a lot of time on our feet, looking at valves and cylinders. It is hard work and our hands are usually covered in some kind of grease by the end of the day. The industrial estate has a lot of activity, and we are just one part of it. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It's just a few of us who know how to handle hydraulic systems. We take on various engineering tasks as they come in. Sometimes we have to go out to a site to look at a machine, but mostly we are right here in the unit. The lighting isn't the best in the back of the shop, but we have portable lamps for the tricky jobs. We don't use much fancy language to describe what we do. We just fix things and put systems together. It’s a practical business and we like it that way. Most of our tools have been with us for years. We just keep going, day after day, working through the pile of repairs and projects on the bench. We usually wrap things up late and head home.
