R.P. Engineering Works

R.P. Engineering Works is tucked away in the Shree Mohan Mill Compound. If you know Ghodbunder Road, we’re right behind the Balaji Auto Showroom and near the Roto Press. It’s an industrial kind of area, so there’s always some noise from machines or trucks moving around. We’ve been in this compound for quite a bit. It’s a solid place for engineering work because we have the space we need. It’s not the easiest place to find if you’re not looking for it, but once you’re in the compound, we’re right there. We spend most of our time on the shop floor dealing with the actual work. It gets a bit dusty and loud, but that’s what happens in an engineering shop. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. Most of our tools have been with us for years and we know exactly how they handle. We take on whatever jobs come in, from small repairs to bigger projects. It’s hard work, but we like it that way. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. We don’t make a big fuss about things. We just get the engineering done and move on to the next job. It’s a practical business for a practical area. We’ve been here long enough to see the neighborhood change around us. Sometimes we stay late when a job needs finishing, but that’s just the nature of the work. If you need something fixed or built, you can usually find one of us.
