Rotex Manufacturers & Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is located out in Bhopar Village on Manpada Road. It’s quite a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main city, but this part of Dombivily has become a real hub for manufacturing lately. We have our setup here where we handle all the engineering work. It’s a dusty area sometimes because of all the construction and the trucks moving back and forth on the road. Inside the shop, it’s usually pretty loud with the machines running. We spend our days looking at drawings and making sure the parts we produce are what the customer asked for. It’s physical work and your hands usually end up dirty by the end of the shift. There’s a small group of us here who have been doing this for years. We don't have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. Usually, you’ll just find someone in overalls or a plain shirt working on a lathe or checking a measurement. The weather gets really humid in this part of the state, so the fans are always going. We just try to stay on schedule. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them ourselves before we can get back to the main job. It's just a regular engineering workshop doing what we know how to do. No more, no less. We’ve been here for a long time and the building shows its age, but it works for us.
