We’ve been tucked away here at 14, Anand Industrial Estate for a good number of years now. If you know the Mohanji Sunderji Road area, you probably know how busy it gets with all the trucks and workers moving around Raghunath Nagar. We just focus on the engineering side of things, mostly handling the metal work and parts that folks around here need. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. Usually, you’ll find us out on the floor where the machines are running. It gets pretty loud during the day, so sometimes we have to shout over the drills and lathes just to hear a phone call. The workshop has seen better days, but the tools work fine and we know where everything is kept. Most of the guys here have been with us for a long time, so they don’t need much instruction anymore. We start pretty early when the sun isn't too hot yet. By noon, the heat in the shed can be a lot, so we take our breaks then. People sometimes struggle to find the unit since the signage isn't very big, but once you see the stack of raw materials outside, you know you’re in the right spot. We don't spend much time on paperwork or marketing stuff because the actual fabrication takes up most of our hours. It’s just honest work, day in and day out, making sure the orders go out when they are supposed to.
