R. P. Engineering Works

We've been here at Pokharan Road No.2 for a long time now. People usually find us by looking for the Devidayal Co. Ltd. building right across the street. It’s an old spot, but it works for what we do. Engineering work is mostly what goes on inside these walls. My dad started this and now a few of us keep it running day to day. It gets loud and messy sometimes with the machines going, but that's just how a workshop is. We handle different metal jobs and repairs as they come in. Nothing fancy, just the regular stuff folks in the area need. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big order comes through or someone drops off a broken part that needs fixing fast. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the shop floor and some tools we've had for years. It’s a practical place. We show up early, get the machines warmed up, and start working on whatever is on the bench. Sometimes the traffic on Pokharan Road makes it hard for deliveries, but we manage. If you’re looking for R. P. Engineering Works, just look for the gate opposite Devidayal. We’re usually there from morning until late evening, just getting the work done. It’s a simple living and we’ve gotten to know most of the people around here over the years. We just take it one job at a time.
