Protech Engineering Works

Protech Engineering Works is located at 26 in the Dewan & Shah Industrial Estate. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Bank of Baroda, which makes it easier for people to find the entrance. This building has been around for a long time and you can see it in the walls. We do a lot of general engineering work. It might be fixing a part for a pump or making some brackets for a construction site. There is no air conditioning in the main work area so it gets quite warm during the afternoon. We have a few old machines that still run better than the new ones we bought a few years back. My uncle started this place and I’ve been here since I finished school. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements. Most of our work comes from the other businesses in this estate or people who have known us for ten years. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the shift. We clean up and do it all over again the next morning. It is just a regular engineering shop where we try to stay busy and meet the deadlines. There is always a stack of orders on the wooden desk in the corner. We don't use much software, just paper and pencils for the most part. It works fine for us.
