Professional Engineering Works

We are based in the Oshiwara Industrial Centre, specifically at 19/A. It is right on Link Road, just across from the Oshiwara Bus Depot in Goregaon West. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy with all the buses and traffic. Professional Engineering Works has been in this unit for years. The air always smells a bit like metal and oil, which is just part of the job when you are doing engineering work. We have some machines that have been with us since the start, and they still run better than some of the newer stuff. It is a noisy place when everything is running, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. Our team is mostly guys who have been working with their hands for a long time. We do not have a fancy front office with a receptionist; you basically walk right into where the work happens. We take on all sorts of jobs, from small repairs to making specific parts that people cannot find elsewhere. There is a lot of grease and dust around the shop, but that is how you know things are getting done. We do not have a marketing department or anything like that. People usually find us because they heard from someone else that we could fix a problem. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines. It is hard work but it is what we do.
