We are situated in Thane, right near Devi Chowk at 27/Jai Shubham. If you've ever been to Thane, you know Devi Chowk is a pretty well-known landmark, so people don't usually have trouble finding us. The area is always buzzing with people and vehicles. It’s an old part of the city, so the buildings are built close together and the roads are narrow. Our office is in the Jai Shubham building. It’s a practical space. We don't have a lot of extra room, so we’ve had to be clever with how we arrange the desks for Citec Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. The monsoons here in Maharashtra can be really heavy, and sometimes the street outside gets a bit flooded, but we manage. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so there’s a lot of familiarity. We don't bother with corporate rituals or fancy presentations. It’s mostly about getting the technical details right. The local shops nearby are great for a quick snack or a tea break. The stairs can be a bit steep, so we usually just stay put once we get up here in the morning. There's not much parking space either, so most of us just use public transport. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just take that as a chance to step outside for some fresh air. It’s a real, unpolished environment.
