Prataps Wild Dining

If you are looking for us, we are tucked away in Jogeshwari West 3. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t from around here, but the locals know the spot. We mostly focus on getting the food right and making sure the tables are clean. The name says wild dining, which I guess sounds a bit different, but really we are just a bunch of people who like cooking. The kitchen gets really hot during the dinner rush and sometimes we run out of things if it’s a busy Friday. We’ve got some decorations up to make it feel a certain way, though it’s mostly just practical stuff. The chairs might creak a little but they’re comfortable enough. We don't spend a lot of time on social media or anything like that because we are too busy in the back. Jogeshwari is a loud neighborhood and some of that noise definitely drifts in through the front door. We keep the lights a bit low and just try to get the orders out as fast as we can. Sometimes there is a wait for a table, especially on weekends when families come out. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Mumbai, just a solid option for people who want a meal near street 3. It's just us doing our thing every day, hoping the stove stays lit and the customers leave full.
