Pinky Provision & General Stores

Pinky Provision & General Stores is a small shop located in Kandivali East, though the address mentions 10th Main in Koramangala 6th Block 3 as well. It’s one of those neighborhood places where you can find almost anything you forgot to buy at the big supermarket. We have bins of rice and pulses sitting out, and the shelves are packed with everything from soap to biscuits. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are shopping at once. We open up early in the morning before most people are even awake to get the milk deliveries sorted. There is always a bit of a rush around breakfast time and then again in the evening when everyone is heading home. The store is a bit cluttered because we try to fit as much as possible into the space we have. You might find a stack of notebooks next to the cooking oil. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a regular local store where we know who likes which brand of tea. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for the distributor to show up on his scooter. Dealing with the daily accounts on a small wooden desk is how the evening usually ends. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do here in this part of town.
