Reshma Mechanical Works

Our shop, Reshma Mechanical Works, is tucked away in the Ts 3/1 area over at Vicco Naka MIDC. If you’re looking for us, we’re pretty close to Alliance Engineering Co., which is a good landmark because people always get a bit turned around in this industrial zone. It’s a gritty kind of place, lots of noise from the nearby units and trucks moving in and out all day long. We spend most of our hours bent over workbenches or dealing with whatever mechanical job came in that morning. It’s not a quiet job, and your hands never really stay clean for long. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the work stays pretty much the same. Some days are longer than others, especially when a machine acts up and we have to stay late to figure it out. We don’t have any big reception area or anyone answering phones in a suit. It’s just us back here with the tools. The floor is usually covered in scrap and the air smells like oil, but that’s just how a workshop is. We try to keep things organized, but when things get busy, it’s a bit of a scramble. Most folks who come by are just looking to get something fixed or made so they can get back to their own work. We just do our bit and go home. Usually, there is some tea around four, which helps everyone.
