Panchal Engineering Works

Panchal Engineering Works is located at 102/A in the Krishna Saraswati Chs. We are in the 400101 zip code area of Mumbai. Being inside a housing society complex means we have to be mindful of our neighbors, but it’s still a busy engineering shop. We have lathes and welding equipment squeezed into the space. The smell of machine oil is pretty strong the moment you walk in. We’ve been here for quite a few years now. The floor is stained from all the metalwork, and there are metal shavings in the corners that no matter how much we sweep, they always stay there. It’s a small operation. Just a few of us working on parts and repairs. We don't have a fancy office upstairs. Our desk is right there next to the machines. We spend most of our time measuring things and cutting steel. It gets really loud when all the machines are running, so we mostly communicate with nods and hand signals. When things break down, we stay until they are fixed. Mumbai life is fast, and our customers are always in a hurry. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People find us because we’ve been in the same spot at Krishna Saraswati for a long time. We just focus on the job at hand and try to keep the machines running smoothly. It’s a simple, hardworking life in a crowded city.
