We are based out of Majiwade, right at number 230. It's a place that smells like old oil and cold metal most days, which I guess is normal for a tool company like Okay Tools. We've got a lot of tools lying around in wooden crates. Some are for cutting, others for measuring, and some I don't even know the name of anymore. It's not a showroom or anything polished. It's just where the work happens. People drop by looking for specific wrenches or drill bits they can't find elsewhere. We try to keep stock of what folks usually need for their workshops. If we don't have it, we might know a guy down the road who does. The building isn't brand new and the walls have some cracks. We spend most of our time out on the floor or checking the inventory lists against what’s actually on the shelves. It gets loud sometimes when the machines are running in the back. We don't really have a big marketing team or anyone to answer emails quickly. It's just us answering the phones and packing up orders in brown paper. Majiwade is a busy hub, so there’s always some truck blocking the entrance. We've been doing this for a bit now. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and that's the biggest crisis of our morning. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide the right tool for the job. No fuss, just metal and hard work. It's a practical way to live.
