Nielsen Company

Over at Nielsen Company, we are based out of Sudarshan Colony in the Kopri area of Thane East. It’s a local neighborhood and we’ve been here for a good bit now. Working in Thane East is a bit different from being in the middle of Mumbai, but it suits us just fine. We have our setup here where we handle a lot of the day-to-day tasks that come with being a company like ours. There’s usually a lot of paperwork and people coming in and out. It’s not a fancy setup with leather chairs or anything like that. Just desks, computers, and a lot of focus on the numbers we deal with. We spend most of our time looking at data and trying to make sense of what’s happening in the markets. It’s steady work. The people living around Sudarshan Colony probably see us walking to the station or grabbing lunch nearby. Kopri has a nice feel to it, a bit more relaxed than the city center. We just try to get our reports done and keep the office running smoothly. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up or the internet goes slow, like any other office, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be something we’re not. We are just a team of people working hard in Thane to keep things moving for the company. It’s practical, it’s daily, and it’s what we do. It takes a lot of patience to get the details right.
