We spend most of our days here in Thane looking through resumes and talking to people who need jobs. It gets pretty busy in the office because there are always folks coming in and out asking about openings. We started Ak Placement Services Pvt. Ltd. a while ago just to help match people with companies that are looking for staff in Maharashtra. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually get some filing done. We mostly deal with local businesses around the area. People know where to find us when they're looking for a change or when their company needs an extra hand. It’s just us here, making sure things move along. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything, just some desks and a lot of paperwork. Dealing with people can be tricky sometimes because everyone wants something different, but we try to keep it simple. If you walk by our place in Thane, you’ll probably see us on the phone or typing away. We’ve been at this for a bit now and have seen how the job market changes around here. It’s a lot of matching names to roles and hoping for the best. Nothing more to it than that really. We just show up and do what needs doing every day. Our desks are usually covered in post-it notes and we drink way too much tea to stay focused.
