Our business is based in Vashi, over at Sector 19C. We have Shop Number 1 on Plot 30. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood with a lot of people moving around. We are in the hospitality and catering business. Most of our space is taken up by large cooking pots, serving trays, and industrial stoves. It isn't a place for meetings or fancy presentations. We usually meet people at their own venues or talk over the phone. Our mornings are filled with the sound of knives hitting cutting boards and the smell of spices being toasted. We have a crew that has been with us for a long time. They know how to pack a van so nothing spills on the way to a wedding or a party. We don't have any slick marketing or a big social media presence. Most of our orders come from people who have eaten our food at someone else's house. Vashi is a good central location for us, even if the parking around the shop can be a nightmare sometimes. We deal with a lot of last-minute changes and frantic calls from clients. It’s just the nature of the catering world. We try to keep our heads down and focus on the kitchen work. It’s rewarding when an event goes well and the pots come back empty. We just do the work we know.
