N. Y. Furniture

N. Y. Furniture is located right in the Rai Master Compound, which is pretty easy to find since it’s next to the temple and close to the Manpada Signal. Ghodbunder Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the cars and trucks going past. We’ve been here for a while, just doing our thing with different kinds of furniture. The shop isn't a showroom like the ones you see in big malls. It’s more of a working space where we keep things that people actually need. We have stuff for the kitchen, the bedroom, and wherever else you need a place to sit or store things. Being near the temple means we get a lot of people walking by, and sometimes they just pop in to see what we’re working on. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to fit a lot of stock in a small area. There’s usually sawdust on the floor and some tools on the workbench because we’re often fixing things or putting pieces together. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us local folks making sure the business keeps going. If you come by, you’ll likely see us drinking tea or talking to a neighbor. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, even with all the traffic outside. We just take things one day at a time and try to be helpful to the people who live nearby. That’s about all there is to our little furniture shop in the compound.
