Strufer Mechanical Engineers

Ambernath is where we have our shop. We’ve been at Plot D-33 in the Additional MIDC area for a good while now. It’s a busy part of Anand Nagar with a lot of other industrial sheds nearby. We do mechanical engineering stuff here, mostly focusing on repair work and making parts. It’s a noisy place with the machines running all day, but we’re used to it. We don't have a fancy reception area or a secretary. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk into the shop and find one of us. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, and our clothes are never clean for long. We just get on with the jobs that people bring us. It's mostly local businesses that need something fixed or a specific part fabricated. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the heat. The shed can get quite stuffy in the afternoons, but we have a few big fans going. We aren't a big company, just a handful of guys who know how to work with steel. We don’t do much on the computer, we prefer being at the workbench. If you're looking for us, just look for the gate with the blue paint. It's a simple life but it keeps us busy.
