It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know the landmark. Being in the 400104 zip code puts us right in the middle of a lot of construction and activity. Mep Consulting Engineering Ltd is a small operation, despite the long name. We’ve been working out of this lane for several years. It’s a bit narrow for parking, so we usually tell people to park on the main road and walk in. The office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and rolls of designs, but we know where everything is. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a bunch of slogans. We just show up in the morning, drink some tea, and start working on whatever project is currently on the desk. It’s a lot of technical work that requires focus, so it stays pretty quiet inside despite the noise from the Link Road nearby. We like being in Goregaon because it feels like a real part of Mumbai where things actually get built. We aren't corporate people. We are just engineers and staff who like solving problems and making sure the lights and water in buildings work right. We share the space with a few other small businesses, so there's always someone to talk to in the hallway. It's a decent environment for us.
