Maroosh

If you are walking around the food court on the second floor of Viviana Mall, you will find Maroosh there. We are right on the Eastern Express Highway in Thane West, zip code 400601. Jupiter Hospital is right next to the mall, so we get a lot of people coming in from there too. Working in a mall food court is pretty fast-paced. We spend our days behind the counter, getting food ready for the lunch and dinner crowds. It gets really busy on the weekends when everyone in Thane seems to show up at once. We’ve been here for a while now, and the staff knows the routine by heart. We prep the ingredients in the morning before the mall even opens to the public. It is a lot of standing and moving around in a small space. We see all kinds of people—families, teenagers, and people just taking a break from shopping. The mall environment is loud and bright, but we just focus on the orders in front of us. It’s a simple setup, nothing too complicated. We just make the food as people order it and try to keep up with the rush. Sometimes the line gets long, but we do what we can to keep things moving along. It’s a regular job for us, and we’re just glad to be a part of the food court scene here. We’ve gotten pretty good at working in such a small kitchen space over the years. It's just what we do every day.
