Malvan - The Eating House Llp

You can find us over at Wagle Estate in Shreenagar, specifically in the Swargandha building. We are up on the 4th floor in Room 52, which is in the C Wing. It’s right across from the Magal Karyalay, so it’s easy to spot if you are looking for that landmark. Being Malvan - The Eating House Llp means we spend most of our time dealing with fish and spices and the heat from the stoves. It gets pretty hot in the kitchen, especially during the lunch rush when everyone from the nearby offices comes over. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow sometimes, so we spend a lot of time waiting for deliveries or for people to arrive. It isn't a five-star hotel experience, it’s just an eating house where the floor might be a little worn and the walls have some character. We do everything ourselves, from picking out the ingredients in the morning to locking up late at night. Wagle Estate is a busy industrial kind of area, so there is always a lot of movement outside. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the plates are clean. It’s a straightforward job and we like the people who come in. They aren't looking for anything fancy, just a meal that tastes like it was made by someone who actually knows how to cook. That is what we do every day here.
