Magnatech Engineering

Down in Vartak Nagar, specifically at 14/23 in the Jagdish Industrial Estate on Pokhran Road No. 1, you will find Magnatech Engineering. We are right in the middle of a lot of other shops, so there is always the sound of grinding and welding nearby. Our shop is where we handle the engineering side of things. It’s usually covered in a fine layer of dust, no matter how much we try to sweep it out in the mornings. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their specific job. One guy is good with the lathe, another is better at the assembly, and we just coordinate as we go. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of the time, we are just looking at drawings and trying to figure out how to make a part fit right. The office is just a small partitioned area with a fan that clicks every time it rotates. We keep the tea kettle going pretty much all day. It’s a busy life, and the hours can get long when we are trying to meet a deadline. People know us in this area because we’ve been at this spot for years. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we are just a local engineering shop trying to do things correctly. When the sun goes down, we lock up the shutters and head home, ready to start it all over again the next day.
