M K Engineers is based in Happy Valley, specifically at A-21/701 on Tikujiniwadi Road in Chitalsar Manpada. Our office is up on the seventh floor, so we are a bit removed from the street-level noise. It’s a professional but simple space where we handle the engineering side of things. We don't have a big factory floor here; it’s mostly for the design work and the administration part of the business. Chitalsar Manpada is a good place to work from because it’s a bit more pleasant than some of the heavier industrial areas. We’ve been at this address for a few years and we’ve made the space our own. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby with magazines. If you come to the seventh floor, you’ll just find us at our desks working on whatever the current project is. We are a small, tight-knit group and we don’t really go in for corporate formalities. We just focus on the engineering problems we need to solve. Sometimes the commute up Tikujiniwadi Road can be slow during the peak hours, but we are used to it. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes through old contacts and people who know what we can do. It’s a quiet, steady kind of operation and we like the setup we have.
