It’s not a high-rise building or a modern office complex. It’s more of a practical space situated in a busy, dusty area. We handle the affairs for Laxmi Chaya Hotels from here. The surroundings are filled with small workshops and storage units. You see a lot of trucks passing by on the main road nearby. Inside, the office is quite basic. We have a couple of tables, some wooden cupboards for our records, and a fan that rattles a bit. It’s a very local way of doing business. We know the people in the compound and often chat with the neighbors during breaks. The weather in Thane can be quite harsh, so it gets very warm in the office. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe some notes pinned up. It’s a place where we do our work without any pretense. Most of the time, we are busy with the day-to-day coordination. It feels more like a home-grown business than a corporate office. We like the honesty of the area. It keeps us grounded and focused on the simple tasks at hand. It might take a bit of navigating to find us if you aren't familiar with the compound roads, but we are always around during the week.
