Lalit Fine Dine

Lalit Fine Dine has been sitting here in Goregaon West for a good while now. It started as a small idea among family and grew into this place. We don't really go for anything too flashy, even though the name sounds a bit formal. It’s mostly just a spot where people in the neighborhood come when they don't feel like cooking at home. The tables are usually full on the weekends, so it gets a bit noisy with everyone talking at once. We’ve got a kitchen team that has stayed mostly the same over the years. They know the regulars and how they like their food. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up a bit, but we get it fixed. It’s just how things are. We spend a lot of time sourcing the vegetables from the local market nearby every morning. The floors get scuffed and we have to paint the walls every couple of years because things get worn down. That's fine. We like that people feel comfortable enough to stay for a second cup of tea. It’s not a corporate chain where everything is identical. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door or what the weather is like outside in Goregaon. We just keep the lights on and the kitchen ready for whoever shows up for dinner. It's just a regular place for regular people and that's enough for us.
