Down here at Plot No. A-713 in the TTC Industrial Area, things stay pretty busy. We are Kamala Engineering Diamods Pvt. Ltd. and we've been operating out of Mahape-Pawane for a good bit of time. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s not exactly quiet or pretty, but it’s where the real work happens. You can hear the machines and the trucks moving in the MIDC area all day long. We handle diamond tools and engineering parts, which means there is a lot of dust and grease sometimes. It’s a practical business. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or office furniture. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are right and the equipment is running like it should. Sometimes the power acts up or things get delayed, but we just deal with it. Being in Mahape-Pawane means we are surrounded by other businesses doing the same kind of hard work. Our team knows the equipment inside out. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do our job and go home. The guys in the shop have been doing this for years. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We keep our heads down and focus on what’s on the bench that day. It’s hot in the summer but we keep at it regardless. There is a lot of noise, but you get used to it after the first week or so.
