K-Tech (India) Limited is situated over at 7B, inside the Bata Compound in Khopat. If you know the Eastern Express Highway, you know exactly how the traffic sounds all day long. It is a constant hum in the background of everything we do here. The compound itself has an old feel to it, being a place where a lot of different businesses have set up shop over the years. We spend our hours dealing with the technical side of things, usually surrounded by equipment and various parts that need sorting. It is not the kind of place you see in a magazine, but it works for us. The walls have a few scuffs and the floor is built to take a beating from the daily grind. We usually start the morning by checking the schedule and seeing what needs our attention first. There is usually a bit of dust because of the industrial nature of the area, but nobody really complains about that. We just get on with it. Some of the guys have been working here for years and they know the layout of the compound like the back of their hands. Lunch is usually a quiet affair before the afternoon rush starts up again.
