We’ve been at this spot on Jogeshwari West Main Road 255 for a long time now. It’s a busy part of the city, and if you know the main road, you know how much traffic passes by every single day. My name is Kuldip, and I run things here at K K Enterprises. Most mornings start with unlocking the shutter around nine, though sometimes I am running a bit late if the bus is slow. We keep a lot of different things in stock here. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that, just a regular shop where people from the neighborhood come to get what they need. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, and the desk is always covered in papers, but we know where everything is. People ask us how we manage in such a small space, but you get used to it after a few years. We see the same faces every week, neighbors stopping by to chat while they pick up their orders. It’s just how things go here. We don’t do big fancy advertisements because most people just find us by walking past or hearing from a friend. The tea stall next door brings over a cutting chai every afternoon, which is usually the best part of the day. If you’re ever near Jogeshwari West, you’ll see our sign right there on the main road. It is a bit faded from the sun, but it is still there.
