Our little shop is located in Sector 19, specifically Shop Number 2 on Plot 46 and 47A. Kopar Khairane is always busy, so there is usually a lot of noise coming from the street outside. We spend half our time here and the other half out at different sites doing installations. It is mostly mechanical stuff and putting things together that other people bought. Sometimes it is a bit of a puzzle trying to get everything to fit right, especially in some of the older buildings around here. The shop itself is cramped because we have parts and tools stacked up wherever they will fit. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting and the bolting. It isn’t the kind of place where you’ll find a clean desk or a receptionist. Usually, you just talk to whoever isn't holding a wrench at the moment. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, watching the other shops in the sector open and close. Dealing with the traffic in Navi Mumbai is probably the hardest part of the job. We try to schedule the installation trips early so we aren't stuck on the road all day. It’s just honest work, putting things where they belong and making sure they stay there. We don't make a big fuss about it, we just show up and do what the job requires for the day.
