We have been here for a long time, working out of the Millenium Towers in Mumbai. Even though the name says Srinagar, our daily lives happen right here at A-9 / 5 / 3. It’s a bit of a funny story how the name stuck, but we don’t really mind it anymore. We deal with watches, which is a very meticulous kind of work. You have to have steady hands and a lot of patience. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s mostly just benches, tools, and cabinets full of tiny spare parts. The Mumbai weather is quite different from what you’d find up north, and sometimes the humidity messes with the delicate instruments, but we have our ways of managing it. We aren't trying to be a big luxury brand or anything. We just have a place where these timepieces can be handled properly. To be honest, most of us have been working here for years and we’ve seen it all. We know the history of the place better than anyone. We drink tea, talk about the old days, and get the work done. It’s a quiet life in a big building. People come in with their old watches hoping we can fix them, and we do what we can. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just keep our heads down and keep the clocks ticking.
