Jaybee Engineering Enterprises

Our workshop is tucked away inside the Ashirwad Industrial Estate, specifically in unit 1/2 of building number two, off Ram Mandir Road in Goregaon West. If you have ever tried to drive around here during rush hour, you know it takes a lot of patience to get through the traffic. Jaybee Engineering Enterprises has been operating from this same spot for many years now. Inside the unit, it is mostly the constant humming of lathes and milling machines. We are not some massive factory with hundreds of workers, just a small group of us working on various engineering components. Most days, we end up with machine oil on our clothes and metal shavings in our hair. The office is just a tiny corner we partitioned off so we could look at blueprints or talk to vendors without all the noise from the machines in the background. We get a substantial amount of work from other local businesses right here in Goregaon. It is a good community where we know the guys in the units next to us and the person running the tea stall down the street. We do not really do any advertising or marketing because most of our work comes from people just knowing we are here. It is not a glamorous way to make a living, but there is a good feeling in seeing a raw piece of metal get turned into a finished part that actually works. We just show up and do our thing.
