Indian Engineering Enterprises

Our place is over at Raj Industrial Park, right on the first floor. It’s Plot No. A 423/424 if you’re looking at the map. Being on Road No. 28 in Wagle Industrial Estate means there is always a lot of movement outside. Indian Engineering Enterprises has been in this spot for some time. We’ve got the machines set up and there’s always something humming in the background. It’s not the quietest office, but that’s just how an engineering setup is. You walk up the stairs and you’ll see our door at number 120. Inside, it’s mostly just tools, parts, and a few of us trying to keep up with the schedule. The light isn't great in the back corners, so we have some extra lamps taped to the benches. We drink a lot of tea while we look over drawings and fix things. Sometimes the elevator in the park acts up, so we end up carrying smaller boxes up the stairs ourselves. It keeps us moving, I guess. The neighbors are all doing similar stuff—making parts or fixing machines—so there’s a lot of forklift noise coming from the street below. We don’t really do anything fancy here. We just come in, do the engineering work that needs doing, and head home when the shift is over. It’s a practical kind of life in this industrial estate. The days are long but we like being part of the noise here and getting the jobs finished.
