Our place is at Survey No. 11/3. We are right opposite Indu Engineering in Utter Shiv, which is part of Village Goteghar. It is quite a bit away from the main city bustle of Mumbai. Out here, things are a bit more spread out. You see a lot of open land and other engineering workshops around us. It can get very dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the fields in the afternoon. We have a large shed where we do most of our work. It is not fancy, just a functional space with a corrugated roof to keep the sun off. Being opposite Indu Engineering makes it easy to give people directions, as they are a well-known spot in Goteghar. The atmosphere here is different from an office in the city. It is much quieter, except for the sound of our own tools and machines. We have a small group of workers who mostly live nearby in the village. We usually start the day by cleaning up the dust that settled from the previous evening. There is no air conditioning, so we rely on the breeze and some big pedestal fans to stay cool. We do a lot of manual work and handle various enterprise supplies. It is a simple setup for us. We do not have a website or any of that stuff. If people need us, they usually just drive down or call.
